Product Privacy Notice

This notice describes data handled by OneWordCrew hardware, firmware and software. It supplements the Privacy Policy, which covers our websites, store and customer accounts.

Data handled by your device and software

OneWordCrew software stores the settings you create — key mappings, macros, lighting, DPI values and profiles — so that they can be applied to your device. These settings are kept locally on your computer unless you explicitly sign in and enable synchronisation.

Diagnostic and usage data

When diagnostic sharing is enabled, we may receive technical information such as software version, firmware version, device model, operating system version, connection type, and crash or error reports. This information is used to detect faults, improve compatibility and plan updates. It is not used for advertising or profiling.

What we do not collect

OneWordCrew software does not capture, transmit or store the content of what you type, your clipboard, files on your device, or your browsing history. Macros you record are stored as configuration data on your device and are only replayed when you trigger them.

Your choices

Diagnostic sharing is optional and can be turned off in the application's settings; turning it off does not affect device functionality or your warranty. Uninstalling the software removes locally stored profiles. Where the law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion or objection in relation to data we hold, you can exercise them as described in the Privacy Policy.

Retention and contact

Diagnostic records are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or aggregated. Questions about this notice can be sent through our contact page.
